So…..Seasons, possibly Pointi and Ebony and the rest, see you in London and Edinbrugh. Au?
I am soo excited…..but unfortunately, after these events, I have to cut down on my social outings for obvious reasons.
Today is May 2nd and the beginning of a special month.
Please email me for details of where to send your birthday presents……..all I want is the new Nano - the red one please. I lost my old one a few weeks back and my journeys on public transport have never been the same ever since. Makes you wonder how dependant we are on technology. Ever tried going a day or better yet a week without your cell phone?
Passed by misterseed today and this thread just keeps reminding me how as Kenyans (I can’t speak for other nationalities) we like putting each other down. The lady in question hosts a show called African Acts on digital TV and I have watched a few via YouTube. People are really hating on her like this person here and it has prompted the attention of the programme director.
In my opinion, I have watched Janet and I have to commend her for what she does, but I also agree with some of the comments made about her ‘twenging’. I think she tries too hard….other than that, she is one of the few Kenyans in the UK making a name for themselves and I haven’t seen anyone else step up to the plate. I would really like to see if people will take up the Director’s challenge…..go into the studio and see if they can do a better job.
A long weekend for us here…..so, I will leave you with these memorable clips/tunes:
Have a nice weekend y’all!

Sadly, we kenyans have the “crabs in the barrel” mentality where we pull down everyone who wants to climb up the barrel.
